An overview of use

Exemplar 1

In this exemplar, a Work Experience Evaluation Template/Profile was developed using the PebblePad e-portfolio as a platform for Vacation Employment, a compulsory Work Integrated Learning activity. It not only enabled students to plan, reflect upon and record their work experience online, it also enabled them to self-audit their skills and abilities which are considered to be essential graduation attributes. Additionally, PebblePad allowed lecturers/employers to provide effective and timely feedback at the individual level. e-Portfolios also supported student mobility and enhanced student engagement with Engineers Australia’s Graduate Attributes.

e-Portfolio context: e-Portfolios in Engineering. In this exemplar, students used e-portfolios to evidence Engineers Australia's Stage 1 Professional Competencies for professional accreditation with Engineers Australia in a compulsory Work Integrated Learning (WIL) activity
