An overview of use

 

Exemplar 6:  Support study skills and data analysis (Year 1); employability and PDP in Economics (Year 2).

 

Institution: University of Bradford, School of Social and International Studies, Development and Economic Studies.

 

e-Portfolio context:   1st and 2nd year Economics modules developing key study, data analysis, academic and employability skills. The module activities are supported through the personal/academic tutoring system and SaPRA (skills and personal reflective activity – see Bradford use case number 4).

 

Dates of provision: 2008 to present.

 

Reason for implementation: Introduction the e-portfolio concept to students and developing new ways of using to enhance personal tutoring system.

 

Purpose/s: Personal Development Planning, Employability/ Graduate attributes, Lifelong Learning.

 

Learning processes involved:  Planning, Reflection, Feedback.

 

Practice: fully developed.
