e-Portfolio context: Master of Social Work - ePortfolio underpins professional development activities across the course. The activity mentioned here is a first semester activity designed to help students begin to develop their reflective professional pracrtice strategies.
Dates of provision: February 2011
Reason for implementation: ePortfolio was recognised as providing an effective structure and online space to support students' Perofessional Learning Plans. The development of PLPs is central to discipline studies in Social Work. The Professional Learning Plan [PLP] provides students with a fundamental framework for Master of Social Work studies and for subsequent professional social work practice.
Purpose/s: Students complete the Professional Learning Plan [PLP] and record the outcomes of that process into their ePortfolio. This forms the basis of the professional portfolio which will be developed across the Masters course.
